Recorded distribution in Britain and Ireland

Recorded in several estuaries along the south west coast of Cornwall, on the southern coastline of Wales, in various lochs in the Clyde region and western Scottish coast, as well as in Loch Obisary on the east coast of the Outer Hebrides.
