- Narrow, ribbon like, slightly wavy frond (blade).
- Midrib along the length of the frond (blade).
- Attached to rock with claw like holdfast.
- Yellowish, olive-green or brown in colour.
Where to look:
In rockpools on the lower shore .
Effects of warmer seas:
Thought to be tempreature senstive. Range retreat northwards
Effects on the environment:
Thought to be sensitive to changes in tempreature
