Key Features
- Ribbon-like leafy fronds.
- Flattened cone shaped holdfast.
- Flattened main stem alternates giving a zigzag appearance.
- Some branches have pod-shaped bladders
- Olive brown in colour when young, getting darker when older.
Where to look:
Middle and lower shore.
