On the spring low tide 36 paces from the wall heading towards the water, the fan mussel was situated in front of Salcombe Hotel.		 Buried into soft sediment, a young specimen with broken shell but looking inside the valves - looked healthy. Atrina fragilis

Pontoon on opposite side of estuary where the upper recycling facilities are kept.		 Did not have a chance to look any more so not sure how much there may have been... Undaria pinnatifida
