Sandy / rock pools
Thought these were sea spiders, but could find nothing like them online, and then changed our thinking to macropedia rostrata, although still not quite sure. These looked like bits of fine sea weed, but on closer inspection had a clear body structure like that of a spider, although they did not seem robust enough to be crabs! In the water they moved with a haphazard crawl, but just flopped when taken out in the net. Quite sprawling legs maybe 80-100mm in span, small 'body' about 10mm in length. Liam Berry
