Identifying features
  • Carapace slightly brader than long, strongly convex transversely, dorsal surface smooth, margins densely setose.
  • Frontal region arched, orbits and eyes very small.
  • Antero-lateral margins of carapace with three or four indistinct teeth.
  • Chelipeds equal, slightly compressed.
